Connecticut Junior Women, Inc. is proud to support Manes and Motions Therapeutic Riding Center,Inc.
Serving Central Connecticut since 1999, Manes & Motions, a not-for-profit organization, located at Daniels Farm in Middletown, CT, is set on thirteen acres of pasture and features an indoor riding facility,
two outdoor arenas and a beautiful wooded trail for riding. Open year-round, Manes & Motions offers a therapeutic riding program that is modeled after the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship
International (Path Intl.)

Mission Statement: Manes & Motions 's mission is to provide benefits in the areas of therapy,
education, sports and recreation through the use of equine-assisted activities for the purpose of contributing positively
to the well-being of individuals living with physical, emotional or cognitive special needs.

The Connecticut Junior Women (CJW) selects a state project that is supported by all of the
it's member clubs throughout Connecticut through fundraising and volunteerism.
For the 2012-2016 affiliation, CJW parterned with Applied Behavioral Rehabilitation Institute, Inc. (ABRI), dba Homes For The Brave.
Prior six year affiliations include: Covenant to Care and Time for Life.
CJW is a statewide organization of over 70 clubs with membership of more than 2,000 women and young
women (age 11-18)
We are a non-profit, non-partisan and non-political group formed for the promotion of civic involvement
through volunteer service in cultural, educational and social areas.
